How you can help
1. Host a screening of ICT's film 'Devotion and Defiance' which chronicals recent Communist Party crackdowns on Buddhism in Tibet. You can order the film from International Campaign for Tibet, by going to www.savetibet.org/news/publications/devotionanddefiance.php
2. Join the ICT Action Network to receive regular updates and calls for action by going to www.savetibet.org/enews
3. Support Tibetan monasteries in India and Nepal that continue to provide a religious education to Tibetans in exile.
4. Help make the Beijing 2008 Olympics a catalyst for change in Tibet - Join ICT in calling on China to show the world that it's a worthy host of the 2008 Olympics by ending human rights abuses in Tibet; and directly engaging the Dalai Lama to find a negotiated solution for Tibet. Visit Beijing 2008: Race for Tibet for more information.
5. Petition China to return the Panchen Lama to his home in Tibet - Determined to control religion in Tibet, China kidnapped the 11th Panchen Lama, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, in 1995 when he was just six years old. Visit Tibet's Stolen Childhood to learn more and sign the petition for his release.
6. Download, photocopy and distribute the fact sheets on key issues and campaigns available at Campaign Snapshots. Great places to give out these materials are at universities, yoga and meditational schools, religious centers and co-ops. You can also email action@savetibet.org to request free printed materials.
7. Believe and accept with gratitude that this will be a more peaceful, kind and loving world.
